Kerri will lead you step by step through the fundamentals of Pilates, building a strong foundation of knowledge and strength, preparing your body and mind to confidently explore the Pilates Method. You will learn muscle release techniques, discover how to engage your deepest stabilizer muscles, strengthen your core muscles including the abdominals, back, butt and legs, and of course stretch it all out. Pilates can alleviate back, neck and joint pain, improve your posture, prevent injury, plus it feels great!

Mat / Springboard II ~ Tuesday 7:15 to 8:15 PM

Intermediate Mat and Springboard: This class will build on the basic repertoire and cues learned in our foundation classes. Teaching is designed for ongoing students wishing to explore more complex sequencing, deeper strengthening, and a more profound embodied alignment. We suggest a minimum of 10 pilates classes, as well private sessions to ensure your safety.

ABOUT KERRI

Kerri Myers discovered Pilates over ten years ago as a BFA Dance student in Boulder, Colorado. After several years of dancing professionally and waitressing in San Francisco, Kerri developed chronic knee pain, and turned to Pilates for rehabilitation. She discovered not only a mindful and sustainable way of conditioning the physique, but a passion for sharing this new body wisdom with others. Kerri now delights in teaching her clients the wonders that the mind and body can achieve together with focused work, helping people move through life with ease and grace. Kerri is available for private sessions ~ to help you take your Pilates to the next level.
