GETTING GROUNDED: A Practice Series on Yoga's Standing Poses ~ Wednesdays 1:30 - 2:30
Standing poses offer stability, strength, and balance both on and off the mat. This 4-week Hatha yoga practice series delves into the structure and composition of the foundational standing poses. Each week is devoted to preparation and in-depth exploration of poses including Tadasana, Trikonasana, Warrior II and Parsvakonasana. Suitable for beginners and intermediate students, as well as students of all levels who want to deepen their experience of these essential asana.

ABOUT RACHEL
Rachel finds delight, connection, freedom, and health in the practices of asana, meditation, breath, and song. Certified in Hatha, Restorative, and Yin approaches, Rachel's classes invite relaxed awareness in body and mind. Her foundational yoga teachers include Judith Hanson Lasater, Tony Briggs, and Sarah Powers, with gratitude to many other teachers and healers along the way. She is a graduate of Spirit Rock's Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Training Program and The Yoga Loft's Teacher Training program (RYT-200), and holds a Master of Social Work.
